1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the workspace, facilities and services of Lifestyle @ Vila Mós at Vila Mós, Estr. do Monte Carapeto, 8600-515 Lagos, Portugal, and your use of this website. By booking a pass, membership or meeting room, you agree to them.
2. Bookings and confirmation
Enquiries submitted through this website, by phone or by message are requests, not confirmed reservations. No booking is confirmed until you receive an email confirmation from us. Prices shown on the site are indicative for standard bookings; meeting rooms, private offices and team bookings are quoted individually.
3. Prices and payment
Current standard prices are: Day Pass €20; 5-Day Bundle €80; 10-Day Bundle €150; Monthly Membership €200. Prices are in euros and include applicable Portuguese VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is due on or before the first day of use unless we agree otherwise in writing. Bundle days may be used non-consecutively; monthly membership runs for the calendar period stated in your confirmation. We may change prices for future bookings; confirmed bookings are unaffected.
4. Access and opening hours
The workspace is open Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. Monthly members may be granted 24/7 access on special conditions agreed in writing; any access credentials issued are personal and must not be shared. We may close the space or restrict facilities temporarily for maintenance, private events, or reasons beyond our control, and will give as much notice as we reasonably can.
5. What is included
Passes and memberships include a workspace and chair, a monitor, stationery and printing in reasonable quantities, electricity, high-speed WiFi, air conditioning, complimentary coffee, tea, water and snacks, and free on-site parking. Monthly membership also includes use of the on-site swimming pool, poolside sunbeds and gym. Facilities are shared and subject to availability, capacity limits and the rules of the wider Vila Mós resort.
6. Cancellation and changes
To cancel or move a confirmed day pass or meeting room booking, please tell us at least 24 hours before the start time; we will move it or issue a credit. Cancellations inside 24 hours, and no-shows, may be charged in full. Monthly memberships may be ended by either party with 30 days' written notice, and fees already paid for the current period are not refundable except where required by law. If you are a consumer contracting at distance, your statutory rights of withdrawal apply where relevant; note that where a service is provided on a specific date, withdrawal rights may not apply.
7. Use of the space
Please treat the space, equipment and other members with respect: keep noise to a level suitable for shared work, take calls in appropriate areas, leave desks and communal areas clean, and follow staff instructions and safety signage. Smoking, illegal substances, and behaviour that harasses or endangers others are not permitted. Pets are not permitted without prior agreement. We may end a booking or membership without refund for serious or repeated breaches.
8. Guests, clients and children
You may bring a client or colleague to poolside sunbeds within your allowance, and guests attending a booked meeting are welcome. Guests remain your responsibility while on site. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may not use the gym.
9. Pool and gym
Use of these facilities is at your own risk and subject to the posted rules and any lifeguard or resort restrictions. Please do not use them if you have a medical condition that makes doing so unsafe; seek advice from a doctor if in doubt.
10. Your property and our liability
Storage is provided as a convenience; you remain responsible for your belongings and should insure valuable equipment. We are not liable for loss or damage to property, or for interruptions to internet or utility services, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the fees paid for it.
11. Registered address and business use
A pass or membership does not confer any tenancy, lease or exclusive right to any part of the premises, and does not entitle you to use our address as your company's registered address unless separately agreed in writing.
12. Website content
All text, photography, graphics and branding on this website are owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Content is provided for information; while we keep it accurate and current, availability, facilities and prices may change.
13. Data protection
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Lagos, Portugal have jurisdiction. Consumers may also have access to alternative dispute resolution through the relevant Portuguese consumer arbitration centre.
