Lifestyle @ Vila Mós ("we", "us") operates the coworking and leisure space at Vila Mós, Estr. do Monte Carapeto, 8600-515 Lagos, Portugal, and this website at lifestylevilamos.com. What data we collect
- Enquiry and booking details you choose to give us: name, email address, the type of workspace you need, your preferred date, times and duration, and any notes you add.
- Member records if you take a pass or membership: contact details, booking history and payment records held for accounting purposes.
- Technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring page, used to keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and manage your booking — necessary for performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To send booking confirmations and practical information about your visit — contract performance.
- To meet accounting and tax obligations in Portugal — legal obligation.
- To tell members about community events and offers — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the website secure and improve it — legitimate interest.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as needed: our website host and form provider (Netlify, which processes enquiry submissions), our email provider, our payment provider and our accountant. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Booking and member records are kept for the period required by Portuguese accounting and tax law (generally 10 years). Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only what it needs to work. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the location map is embedded from Google Maps; both may set cookies and receive your IP address when those elements load — see Google's own privacy notice for details. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to another provider, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Children
The workspace and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
